Good morning!

P.S. Extra bonus points to anyone who can name the city in which this latte was brewed. A hint: it is not Eugene.

  1. Mmmmmm...since you mentioned you are in San Francisco this week, that's going to be my guess...Thank you for notifying me about your blog! I totally added it to my Google Reader and will stay tuned. As I get older and wiser I'm definitely becoming more interested in slow food and public education about eating healthy in a nation that does NOT DO ENOUGH to offer and promote healthy and local choices!

  2. Very good guess, Windy! Nice powers of deduction.

HOWEVER. It is not from San Francisco.

It's actually a latte that was brewed in the Pacific Northwest, to give another hint....

  3. Seattle! They really know coffee up there.

Yummm, that latte looks sooo good. It has a few air bubbles, but who I am to judge.

  5. OMG Winston -- you're absolutely right. And I know you know the exact episode of Sex & the City that I am referencing with this title!

  6. Well it's likely Seattle although the originators of latte decorating as in the picture are in Vancouver B.C.

  7. um...it opens in an upscale cosmetic shop with a mid-shot of carrie spritzing herself with perfume and saying, "i'm thinking of taking a l-l-luv-AH..." you mean that episode? just a wild guess :-P

  8. Becky and Selina win the bonus points: Seattle it is! If you ever get a chance, visit this coffeehouse: Caffe Vita. You can smell the coffee beans from a block away, and walking in is just heavenly. They KNOW coffee.

And Winston: you got the episode exactly right. Of course.
